supposed to have this life changing technology, yet he chose a life of

Well then you have lead a very sheltered life and need to get out of
the house more often and visit the real world.
You will probably be surprised at how many low life's there are out
there that have no redeeming value, but then again, you are probably
one of the one who says the devil made them do it and there fore
relinquishing responsibilities for themselves. So Sad.

Here's something you've apparently never thought of [*]:
knowing how something works and actually putting it into
practice are two entirely different things.
[*your criticism is similar to that criticism which is leveled
at christians when they "sin". People say "Look what he did!
And he's a christian!" Gasp!]
Let's give credit where it's due. Bandler may or may not have
done a million "bad" things. I don't care. I haven't even studied/
whatever NLP. I just knew something was up in this world and
stumbled on NLP and it put a lot of things into perspective for
me - the presuppositions mostly.
If you don't buy into NLP then what are you doing here? Trying
to enlighten people with your "asshole" 'tude?
p.s. you do have addictions. You just aren't aware of them. They
may not be addictions to drugs or alcohol or smoking, but you are
addicted to suffering.
You sound like a man who likes a challenge. Here's one for you:
give up posting to usenet. Prove that you aren't addicted to it.

said, we can't divide the world into good and bad people. The sword
would cut each of us in half.

What I do think is you're really unhappy because no one
seems to want to buy into whatever you believe -- it may
be the answer for you, but it hasn't even made you any
happier, has it?
